Overcooked is available for free on Epic Games this week


Epic Games Has Been recently giving away games for free for the last few weeks. As we know, it started with the GTA V Giveaway, which ended in a week. 

Overcooked is the weekly free game on Epic Games Store this week. The game replaces the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection from last week. The free offer is only applicable for PC users and can be downloaded via Epic Games Store until June 11 8:30pm. However the game is also available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and costs $6.99 (approximately Rs 528).

The game is developed by Ghost Town Games Ltd and as already mentioned is a co-op action cooking game which can be played with up to four players at a time. Out of four players, one can take charge of chef and control it to cook food on time. Show some team spirit to cook a variety of tasty food and deliver on time before customers start getting angry and leave in a huff. You’ll need to cook a range of different dishes while working as a team to become the most effective and ultimate team. There’s also a solo mode on offer allowing players to play individually and improve their skills.
How to claim your free game
To claim the free game every week, you’ll need to download the Epic Games Store from its official website or click here. Now, login using the Epic Games credentials. Epic also allows users to login using several different methods such as Google Account, Facebook account and more, choose the method that suits best to you.
Once logged in, tap on Overcooked image shown at the homepage and then click on Get button to add the game to your Epic Games library. Also note that these games are keepers unit, which means once claimed, they are yours forever. You can download the game anytime and play.
