Telegram: Telegram 6.2 update brings video editor and more to the app

Telegram has already started rolling out a new update version 6.2 for its Android and iOS app. The latest update brings several new features to the app, the most noticeable is the upgraded media editor with support for animated stickers and editing videos.

Video Editing

The new video editing feature allows users to enhance video quality. It includes both automatic and manual mode giving users complete flexibility on how and what they want to edit or just let the app do it for them. The manual editing feature of the app allows to tweak several parameters such as brightness, saturation, etc. Users can also zoom in a video to get more presided editing.

GIF and Stickers

Another noticeable change is the ability to add animated stickers to any photos or videos and turn the photos and videos into a GIF and share it with friends and family on Telegram.
But that’s not the only modification the update 6.2 brings to the table. The GIF panel has been upgraded with a new Trending section and emoji-based tabs that show popular GIFs and emoticons. Users can now also long-press on any GIF to save it to the Recent tab.
Apart from this, there’s a new video player with smart controls, then there’s a new colourful cache management interface as well.
Last, but not the least, Telegram has also added the two-step verification option to the app with the latest update to make the app more secure than it ever was.
